I mean let's face it, it's not as if this anime ever tried to be more serious that what we loved it for. I loved it for the cute girls, harem possibility and awesome unjustified and unrestrained overpowerness.

Further nonsense with the ball and chain: She literally couldn't take a step with it on before leaving... then at the wedding crashing she says "It's not as heavy as it looks."
I'm ok with some of the ridiculousness in this series - its just comedy - but when you lose consistency from it, that's issues with the writing.
The veg in the mouth is a ridiculousness I'm ok with. Hes a farmer so veg being involved makes sense and it's a lighthearted anime, so non-lethal "you've been fed!" win is the way to go. He *could* have been beating them with veggies, but that starts to be a bit brutal.

Well, now that she is reunited with her lover Gazel and she has love for brains, I would assume that the ball & chain might become lighter. It would also be funny as a returning side cameo in future episodes when the castle is in a pinch that she ends up using the ball & chain as her weapon to aide our farming heroes. It's like she accepted it as her part of her existence or something you would see in Gintama.

this is the type of anime where you watch it just to release some stress.....or at least that's my reason why I watch this type of anime. It's like playing free online web games.....it's free, it's not even hard to play and probably not even that good but you just wanna play games to let some stress out so why would you even care right?

its just pretty fun n lighthearted.just watch for entertainment.

-Dunno if he is strong enough to break metal barehanded, but he is strong enough to carry it.

ALL the animes this season have been "Just don't use brain, and it's gonna be k." type of animes sadly... wet noodle MCs going around collecting women... a couple of animes like Mob psycho and Reincarnated as a Sword are okay watch but the rest are just trash... fast forwarding through most episodes this season sadly...

The soldier can tell what's right or wrong, that's rare character depth their. seriously in most show these kind of background character would have continue to follow him blindly. I think it's refreshing to have them reconsider their action and change side once the truth is exposed. sadly not enough people have the maturity to do that in real life.

yup, Al's harem is not quite OP enough to handle Mom. Fal has the political and economic power, but is pretty weak otherwise. Ruri has the hero blood but is still a low-level hero at best. Helen is the only one right now with any good strength and flying with those wings and probably ok magic. but she has low experience fighting.
